Adult Clinical and Mental Health Psychologist
My approach within psychology is very much shaped by my own work on self-awareness, which I have done in a dynamic approach.
The unconscious process rears its head in the most mundane forms. For example, when we cannot say why we feel or do what we do; or why we suffer from a symptom when we think we are healthy.
Working with my clients, I do my best to help them better understand their own inner stories, so that they have a greater insight into how they function. It's a process of thinking together, reflecting on each other and trying to untangle tangled threads.
I believe that with a higher level of self-awareness we can develop a more harmonious relationship with ourselves and our environment. Change thus comes from within, I am a guide on this journey.
I have gained my experience in the health care sector since 2013, in acute and rehabilitation psychiatric wards, and in private practice since 2018. Issues I can help you with:
- panic disorder
- mood disorders
- anxiety disorders
- somatisation disorders
